Dayton Blues Society invades J-Alan's!

On Sunday, October 12th, the sound of blues filled the air along Ludlow Street in downtown Dayton as J-Alan’s co-owner Phil Key greeted everyone with a smile and a handshake to the Dayton Blues Societies October “Blue Sunday” Blues Jam while Brownstreet Breakdown took the stage to get the ball rollin’.

As Myron cranked up the pulled pork and chicken wings in the back of the house Tom “Harpoon” Henry, “Downtown” Herbie Brown, “Fast” Eddie Miller, and Jeff “Rockwood” Roberts laid down the low down blues like they’ve been doin’ for years in this city.

Players signed the book for Marty while some watched their favorite NFL team win or loose (Poor Bengals!) and Jeff and Katie worked to deliver your favorite adult beverage from behind the bar. Players included:
